Creating a brand from scratch for Brazilian furniture
Irani, one of Brazil’s largest industrial companies, has sold furniture to retailers such as Target, Wal-Mart, and Pottery Barn for many years. When the company decided to enter the US furniture market and sell direct to consumers, they turned to TippingGardner to help them create a new brand and bring it to life for the U.S. market.
In our research, we learned that the concept of Brazilian furniture was very appealing to consumers looking for well-designed, ecologically responsible furniture. This inspired us to create the Brastilo brand name and identity which clearly suggest the brand’s Brazilian origin and emphasis on style.
We have extended the identity across every brand touchpoint including the Web site, print advertising, home show booths, marketing collateral, and packaging as well as designing and developing the ecommerce website for Brastilo Living, an online retailer of Brazilian furnishings.
TippingGardner also maintained the site and managed Brastilo’s social media initiatives.
